Why all the downvotes? Is this a bad SSD? I see it has bad Newegg reviews but Amazon/Best Buy are good.

I think it's because the code is only 10 off but still a great deal

In "classic view" or full site view, you can view the forum thread. There, up by voting, you can click on the "Voting Feedback" and it will show you the different reasons and percentage of votes for each. With any Jet deal posted, there will be many voting "Poor Merchant Reputation" and "Other" for pretty much the same reason. You will see this voting trend in past Jet deals posted.

As of the time of my reply, this thread currently has 42% negative votes combined for the 2 reasons mentioned previously.

I typically trust Newegg review more than Amazon or BBY...given that there are enough to go on at each site. ("Has 5 star reviews!" [from one person!] laugh out loud) A lot of people at "mass merchants" give reviews after owning the product for a whopping whole day, whereas at "specialty sites" like Newegg, you get owners that are a little more tech-savvy and post after a period of ownership and putting things through some tests. In this case, it's obviously about the merchant, however. SSDs really only essentially come down to; is it an Intel, Crucial, or Samsung? Or is it one of the second-rate drives? Price also matters, but it has to be pretty steeply discounted to consider one of the lesser ones.

Honestly any Jet deal posted to SD as a specific 'deal' will likely go out of stock real quick or cause cancellations. If you 'make your own deal' you almost always get it from Jet it just may take a while. They just can't handle high volume of specific items yet. The 15 off 50 code creates a lot of good deals you just need to go find them yourself rather than wait for a SD post about specific ones.

There are many who's bad experiences with Jet have nothing to do with "OOS", "cancellations", or any deal that's been posted on SD or any other site.
