Cricket Wireless -5 Lines @ $100

yanxizao 118 22 September 11, 2015 at 06:19 PM
I am wondering if this is a good deal.

Cricket is offering the 5 lines @ 100, and I can port all of my lines to them to get a promotion (a new LG Risio) for each line. The deal breaker is that they would have to charge for an activation of $25 each line on it. That's $25 x 5= 125 just for activation.

Although the guy said I could sell the phone but I doubt it would be enough to make it worth it.

It is but be sure you read the fine print. It will be changing in march and upping the price about 2bux a line. Also many phones will work. I would suggest the moto g 3rd Gen for most anyone. Its a bit more at 220 a phone, but it's an amazing phone for the price.

I will be utilizing this.

they "may" raise the cost, but they haven't in the past. they just renew the $100 deal, the wording is just legalese in case they want to raise it or change it.

I have been doing this the past year, no regrets. I went from Straight Talk, the only difference I notice is I now have to dial the area code on local numbers, but I can deal with that for the money I am saving

Old but good deal! Same reception as att and 100 is cost for everything no extra tax.

The activation fee in store sucks, but call around. Every store I called gave me a different story. Finally went to a mall kiosk who told me they would only charge two activation fees and no charge for SIM cards.

I payed 170 for 5 new lines ported from tmobile. Plus I got two nokia lumias and three universal SIM cards. The guy did have to put me on the pro plan though. But after two weeks I called and down graded to the basic 100 plan and got a 50 credit for the month.

All in all I got 5 lines, two new phones, three universal sim kits, and activation for $120.

So make sure you call around to all the local stores and see what they can do.

.
Uh it specifically states that starting March 2016they will be lowering the discount on the 5th line by ten dollars. Effectively raising the price 10dollars for the 5 lines or 2 dollars a line

Things are not set in stone, and can change you know?

Great deal. Friends/family switched from Sprint to Cricket. No regrets whatsoever. We're using T-Mobile unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5's, Note 4's, and Note Edge's. Getting AT&T 4G LTE on all phones via LTE band 2,4, and 17 (depending on area).

Hopefully prices remain the same, but even at $110 for 5 lines, still not bad for what you get.

Yes. It has three different plan, for $40 per month, it's 2.5GB per line. For $50 per month, it's 5GB per line. For the 5 line $100, it is 2.5GB per line.

I just switched from T-Mobile to Cricket this week.
At T-Mobile, I have a grandfathered plan $49 for 600 minutes family plan. Plus, $6 per line unlimited internet (grandfather t-zone since 2000). I have total 4 lines, that brings my pretax bill to $49+20 (3rd and 4th line) + 6x4 = $93. After fee and tax, it is $120+.
Now, I'm on Cricket, 5 line instead of 4, with unlimited text (not included in T-Mobile plan), total $100. It saves me $20+ per month plus one more line for my family. This is great. One more benefit, Cricket is on AT&T network, so it has much better signal in sub urban comparing to T-Mobile.

I would strongly recommend Cricket! There is $25 referral credit if you sign up Cricket through someone's referral link. I google for that and found a link, saved me $25.
