I own External batteries from RavPower,Unu and Innogie (6000mah and 10,000mah) and know a little bit about different brands in external batteries and their performance. When i got a chance to review this product for EasyAcc i was not sure what to expect. The last 6000mah battery from Innogie i reviewed didnt give a good performance. But now putting this battery through all the hoops, i think this is a good value for money.

Construction - This is one cute little battery and built with sturdy plastic material (My review unit was white and orange in color). It can be easily put in a small bag or even a one end you have the flashlight (which is pretty awesome) and the other end it contains a micro usb port for charging and USB port for charging external devices. I prefer this plastic body over the aluminium construction of Innogie dual passion battery.

Ease to use - The battery usage is pretty straight forward. You click once on the button and it shows the battery status using 4 leads (which tells the user the percentage of charge left) . Click twice and the flashlight turns on.if you connect a device, then the battery turns on automatically. My RavPower battery doesn't do that, instead asks you to push a button.

Real world performance- Since this battery has dual use, i tested both functionalities separately.

1) I first tried charging my iphone 6 plus (Note that their manual says the battery supports iphones upto 5s but any device will work) when the phone battery was dead and got the below results:

In 25 mins, phone battery charged to 22% and 75% of charge was left and in 1 hour 15 mins the phone was charged to 53% and the EasyAcc battery was out of juice.

If i compare this to other batteries i have reviewed, EasyAcc proves to be the best of the lot even with the less battery capacity.

RavPower 3200mah charges iphone 6 plus to 57%
Innogie 6000mah battery charges iphone 6 plus to 66%
EasyAcc 3000mah battery charges iphone 6 plus to 53%

2) I charged the battery to 100% and then turned on the flashlight to see for how many hours it will work continuously. First of the light is very bright as you can see in the picture and can light up a room easily. The flashlight was on continuously for 2 hours and i slept off. When i woke up i saw that the flashlight turned off but there was still 25% of charge left in the battery (I am assuming the light switched off after some time to save battery). This is not bad considering the fact that this is just a 3000mah battery.

Conclusion - Of all the batteries i used recently this is one of the best and i will give it 5 out of 5 stars. But note that the battery capacity is low for this device for a phablet phone or tablet, so buy this if you need a battery to use as flashlight and charge a phone with smaller battery like iphone 6 or iphone 5s.
