Wrong area? Dell Advantage Rewards
I was going to make a $6000 purchase from Dell this morning and clicked the Dell Advantage Rewards button and immediately got a "this item is sold out" error. Messed around with the website for a long time, even went so far as to make myself a new email address and Dell account, and yep, it turns out SKU A5750525 is "sold out."
I know it's not my account because I made an entire new one. It's not my computer (tried three), and it's not my web browser (tried three). I have chatted with Dell Sales and they are all too happy to "manually place the order" but then I don't get DIscover Deals (RIP ShopDiscover) 5% back. Speaking of which, it isn't some random Discover cookie, either, because if you go to Dell.com in a private browsing session (or whatever) and add SKU A5750525 to your cart, you'll see it's out of stock.
Has anyone else run into this? I did a search and the most recent threads that discuss Dell Advantage Rewards are a couple days old...
