This is it.
The flashlight you are waiting for.
It trumps ALL flashlights with 1 x 18650 battery.
There are no flashlight I know that has TRUE 1600 lumens (Not fake numbers). This is the only one.

Uses only 1 x 18650 and has a turbo mode of 1600 lumens built by the members of the BLF forum.
This project took about 6 months to complete and the discount code is finally available to the public.

Use GBLFA6SE to bring it down to $25.00

http://www.banggood.com/BLF-A6-CR...91823.html

See http://budgetlightforum.com/node/36667 for more information regarding this flashlight.

3 to choose from
1A = Cool white (CW)
3D = Neutral White (NW)
5A = Warm White (WW)

See http://budgetlightforum.com/node/41726 for specs and additional info.

I personally purchased all 3 of them and prefer the NW version. CW is the brightest but CRI is lacking. NW seems to have the best CRI. WW is close to the old Maglights but less warm.

Shorter tubes for use with 18350 battery will be available to purchase soon - http://budgetlightforum.com/node/41162

bs. I would be surprised if this got half the lumens listed out of a single 18650

i think 1600 lumens would melt this flashlight in about 10 seconds.

It's 1600 with a good battery and spring by pass. It's more like 1400 without spring bypass. There are a few videos on BLF. The parts were selected and tested by BLF members, they're not trying to push the product.

I'm waiting for mine to ship.

Please do more research because your comment suggest you did not do your research on this particular flashlight.

Please see the BLF post and look at reviews.
I have following 1 x 18650 flashlight - NiteCore MH10 (1000 lumens), Nitecore SRT7 (960 lumens), nitecore EA41 (1020 Lumens), Thrunite TN12 (1050 Lumens).
The TN12 is tested to be at least 1000 lumens, others are close.

To my naked eye, this BLF A6 flashlight is at quite a bit brighter than all the above using a good unprotected battery with spring bypass, even without the spring by pass, I can tell it's quite a bit more brighter.

Members on the BLF engineered this together along with schematics, firmware, stuffing components etc.

Great recommendation from the ThorFire thread. This light is WAY better spec wise than the ThorFire and I love that it was basically all open sourced from BLF. In for 1!

Read the concerns from early buyers at the end of the BLF thread. I was about to buy one but looks like they're having problems.

Would be very interested, but they seem to have some teething problems still after reading through the end of the thread. How safe is it to order this and not have issues?

I keep reading about the "spring bypass" but no one explains what that is. Someone care to elaborate?

Also I wish BLF would have gone with anyone other than banggood, I have yet to ever get a product from them. They do however have some of my money.... Terrible company and worse customer service. Others have had okay experiences, but all they did was bang me over real good.....

I've ordered from them twice and received both goods even though one of them was complete crap.
