yes, there is a new fire stick. its $49 and now includes a voice remote. all other specs are the same. No 4k in the fire stick.

Disappointed that Amazon didn't improve the single biggest flaw of the current Fire TV, which is the measly 8GB on-board memory. Yes, they now allow you to store apps on USB, which is a very welcome improvement. But what they don't mention is that "app data" can only be stored in the on-board memory. And a lot of the larger games and apps have a small app download that then has a large "app data" download. Flash memory is not expensive, Amazon should have ponied up for 32GB or higher.

Having said that, I very much like my Fire TV. It's a great little set-top box with a very solid gaming experience and library. Side-loading apps is easy as pie, the processor is good, the remote is superb, the game controller is solid. I love pretty much everything about it except that on-board memory limitation.

Yep, they advertise an "all new FireTV stick", but from what I can tell, everything is EXACTLY the same as the original except they have a version available with a voice remote...
