I'm going to practice writing sensual love notes with these, to drop into my girlfriend's purse when she's not looking.

I've had neither, but someone's comment I found "They are different in diameter and the clip on the stratford is kind of crapy. The nibs have different designs on them but write the same in my opinion. I'd go for the Bailey personally; I've had both pens btw."

The way I see it, the stratford looks thinner than the bailey. I prefer thick over thin

I love fountain pens but have had to give them up cause of losing them due to my hectic lifestyle. Pilot G-2's are the closest and they make me all nostalgic inside.

Anyone know where these are made...? Country of origin...?

I used fountain pens growing up as a kid... Would love one of these, but won't be particularly interested if they're made in China :-/

Perfect for the man who lounges around the mansion smoking his pipe, sipping a scotch on the rocks, while sporting a silk ascot. Of course, a proper olde world English (Queen's, preferably) accent completes the scene.

Cheerio, my good sir!
