Question about Staples coupons?

I haven't used a Staples Coupon in a while. I notice that they all seem to say "regular priced items" and "no other discounts applied".

Does this mean I can't use a Staples coupon AND my ink rewards?

If an item has its own coupon applied (like $2 off pens) does that also exclude it from the coupon use?

Yes, you can use coupons and rewards. If the item has an "instant discount", you should be able to use the coupon too. Of course it all depends if the cashier knows what they're doing, but asking for a manager usually solves that (or sometimes the manager may allow extra discounts that probably shouldn't be allowed, can't hurt to ask!)

If the tag (or online link) states "instant ............." then it is not a "regular price". If the website offers a X% discount off a certain dollar amount spent then it is no longer a regular price, then it's a discounted price.
Then only the Rewards will work.

If the price simply drops from one week to another, then it's a new regular price. Then both will work.

Coupons are applied before receipts are totaled. Rewards are applied after receipts are totaled as a alternate payment method before cash/check/credit is applied.
