Mixed reviews on Amazon. This model is a few years old, and some say it has firmware issues.

I took a gamble on one of the predecessors of this model from woot.com - which I found through SD. That one was 19.99. Everyone said it would be a lemon - and it was until I put DD-WRT on it - which I was going to anyway.

It was the WNDR3300 which has been running strong for about 7 years, until last week when the power flicked a bunch of times. It's still going but has started dropping connections about once a week. Before this, I literally went months between powering it down. And only did so to be kind.

I'm in for this one. Not as cheap as the last, but still a good deal.

Good choice for OpenWrt, CeroWrt, Gargoyle, and DD-WRT. This is the official router of CeroWrt actually, although at this point OpenWrt may be a better choice unless you're specifically interested in the former.
