Stuck in basic mode now for forum threads...

Entered basic mode because I couldn't find the 'edit' link on one of my recent posts and got to it from basic mode to correct a mis-quote, but now my threads view is stuck in 'Basic HTML' mode.
Clicking the link to 'Full Site' does not work, trying to add 'no_mobile=1' as the first php parameter didn't alter it either. I see 'Basic HTML' sets 'basichtml=1' but adding a 'basichtml=0' as the first php parameter didn't seem to alter it either.
The links don't have any type of forum view mode encoded on them when I refresh or go back in history, but I still get 'Basic HTML' (unless I switch to mobile)

How do I get out of 'Basic HTML' mode? Can the 'Full Site' mode link be fixed with the appropriate parameters? Thanks.

OK, after a bunch of viewing source of slickdeals forum code for the open threads in my browser and not seeing anything that looked related, went into slickdeals.net cookies and found 'bbm_basichtml' which had value of 1 and manually deleted the cookie. Upon refresh I'm back in normal mode and things look correct.

Confirming this issue.

Got trapped on the basic html site a while back as well. The way the links are right now it just traps folks in there with no way back to classic site view.

Please fix. Thanks!

Thanks for the reports, I've added a ticket to have this looked into. It's definitely not our intention that looking at basic html locks you into it Smilie

I followed one of the users advice. I couldn't find that specific cookie but I cleared all my cookies and it went back to full site mode. Try that.

Thank you! I couldn't find that cookie but I ended up clearing ALL cookies and it went back to normal. Thanks!
