I ordered an AOC monitor while it still showed in stock.
6 days later, it still hadn't shipped so I questioned the company on how long the order would take to process. At that time, they changed my status to BACKORDERED.
When I complained that they shouldn't sell more than they have... they offered me a much cheaper product for the amount I had already paid, or a much more expensive product (double my purchase price) at a $15 discount below their current asking price.
I was unwilling to do either, opting instead to try to get what I originally ordered.\
This morning, I woke up only to find that TIGERDIRECT had CANCELLED my backorder, AND relisted the exact same product online- IN STOCK-- for $40 more than I paid...
How is that ethical business practice?
