HI, I need to mount a tv in a corner of a reception room. I was looking at monoprice's mounts as well as costco. Wondering if people have any good reviews to share of any mount, and if there's any critical factor to help decide what is good quality or not.

Last thing I need is a tv falling on someone's head. The tv we have is 39". TIA

Found your post because I am looking for a TV wall mount that has some sort of movable, low profile arm. I found a ton on Amazon that I'm looking through. They seem similar, most low profile. Have you compared these? Super cheap, too!

Looking for some real reviews from people. some of the reviews of the cheaper ones will also show you photos of broken tvs from faulty mounts...

Well the important thing is not size, but weight. The stand I'm sitting in front of is rated to about 33 lbs I believe. Got it of all places, Walmart.

I will recommend the Sunydeal TV Wall Mount Corner Bracket to you. I bought it a week ago. It fits my 39inch tv which weighs 20lb perfectly. And it is solid, very easy to install.
My only suggestion would be to make sure your TV is compatible with the VESA of that mount, you will save yourself a lot of hassle that way. Most VESA dimensions are listed with the TV specs.

I really like Monoprice's mounts. The reviews on their page seem to be accurate. I have three larger ones for 50" TVs that I've been happy with for 4+ years.

Easy tilt and swivel options may seem unneeded but they make alignment way easier.

You could always use a TV strap in addition if you're paranoid of falling TVs.
