deleting/hiding google search results?

i have a spam email address. i use it to sign up for nearly everything. rarely a friend may see it if they are invited to something or other via some account.

it's an unusual silly email address (not based on my name) and i could see someone googling it to see if it leads to anything.

well, it turns out there are some forums that for some reason show up in a google search of that email address. for example, i've commented on hundreds of IMDB movies, but two of my movie reviews come up when you search my spam email address. i don't know why IMDB would return a search on an email address rather than a user name, but it is what it is.

in another case, it returns my email address and a common user name i use from another site.

by definition an email address is a unique string, so it's hard to hide. ironically when i google my personal email address, there are no results tied to me.

fortunately nothing humiliating is out there, but i don't necessarily want people to be able to get this information about me just from my email address. that's why i use a spam address and a fake user name - i don't want my movie reviews connected to me. i have an almost non-existent personal internet presence.

is there any way to de-link google results from my email address, or is this all part of the "right to be forgotten" debate?

Google could but not a chance in hell they would. You personally can not.

You should focus on cleaning up the imdb pages. They really shouldn't be leaking your email. Once you've fixed those, search engines should reindex and drop the page from results for a search on your email.

What browser are you using?
If you are using Chrome, do all your website posting/searching in Incognito Mode [google.com]
