4MyRebate - Mcafee Rebate card - Are the shipped dates accurate

I'm waiting on my rebate for McAfee Multi Access (MCA-10030). The tracking shows that the payment was sent 9/11/15, but I have not received it yet. I know 4myrebate sends cards in batches, but I've received cards that were sent on 9/20 already, and this one was not included.

Is it too early to call on this one?

Mcafee is different from TD offers, so they would be shipped to you separately.
&9/11 is 3 weeks. That's too long. Call them up.

Well, I called last Thursday. They took my info and said to call back Tuesday (today). Today, they say they have no record of my call on Thursday. The rep tried to help but said she has to go through every rebate card listed under my name (there are over 100), to determine which one was sent on 9/11. I get to call back on Monday :-/

Hope they're not running me around in circles.

The rebate center and AMEX continue to give me the runaround. After my 4th call to Amex, they determined that they have no record from the rebate center to send out a card and to call back the rebate center. Upon contacting the rebate center, they tell me to call Amex, then tell me they're working on it, and to contact them for an update in 3 days. WHen I follow up, they tell me to call Amex again.

Having done hundreds of rebates, this is the first one that I seem to have hit a wall. Would it be best to contact the BBB, or is it worth giving Rebate Assurance a shot?

4myrebate CS are generally useless when something goes wrong like this. Amex are the ones who need to reissue the card but if they're saying there is no record of it then that makes it much trickier. "No record" probably means they saw all your cards and didn't want to look through them all.

Call Amex again and ask to speak to their supervisor. Even though you have a lot of cards in your name they should be able to locate it, even if it means they have to look through them all.

Failing that, submit the BBB complaint. BBB complaints go higher up than regular CS so you might have better luck. Give them all the information will need up front and explain in detail what happened... it will save you going back and forth with them if you can give them everything in one go.

Hopefully that works out for you... although I wouldn't be surprised if they respond telling you to contact Amex again.

As a last resort you can always dispute the transaction with your credit card company. That will get their attention.
