So used. Not a terrible deal, but keep that in mind. They will all be under warranty until October 22 at the earliest. So if anything is wrong with it or you're dissatisfied with it apple can swap you out for a refurb.

As long as they don't determine that non-Apple parts or battery are installed.

I tried to swap my daughters iPhone for a refurb, but was told that they give loaners now and repair your item and ship it back to you.

How do you determine they will be under warranty until Oct 22? I wonder where they sourced these from? Without a dated sales receipt of the original purchase date, then the warranty would be based on the manufacture date as stated by Apple.

iPad Air 2 release date was October 22, 2014. Therefor, any iPad Air 2 will be under warranty until at LEAST October 22, 2015.

Wait, so you can swap an Apple device for a refurb without reason?

Unless any parts have been replaced. So, no guarantee that's the case.

Well you have to make up a reason for them to swap it out such as random resets.

LMAO I just bought an AT&T iPhone 5S from eBay (manufacturer refurb from Pangas_deals) but the phone is still under contract. Would be nice if I can swap it for another phone from the Apple store so I don't risk getting black listed if the previous owner report it as stolen for insurance fraud.

Has happened to me before 6 months after I bought a pre-owned Verizon 5C from Gamestop. Good thing they took the phone back.

Do they just take your word for it, test it a few time and give you another one or are they gonna stress test it and nope no random reset...user error, go back home.
