Need an ultra cheap (flip) phone Sprint branded

Activated a nice phone on Ringplus Future 4 plan and want to free up that phone.

So need a ultra cheap (flip) phone Sprint branded phone to swap the plan to until I have enough funds to buy another good phone.

Don't care about the temp flip phone as long as it can make calls.

I'm also OK with you keeping the phone and letting me activate it on Ringplus as long as you don't blow through 500/500/500.

Please PM if interested.

Right, but that alcatel is a NIB flip phone and I am going to throw this phone away anyways.

So I am looking for people who already have a few flip phones lying around and don't mind selling it cheap OR, those who can let me use their phones to hold on to my plan until BF is here or I find a great deal on a new phone, and also make some money in the process

That sounds like a lot of extra work searching and dealing with someone to get a used phone when you could just get a Onetouch for $15 at Target or Best Buy and be done with it. I bought one myself.

But what's the use of the Onetouch though? Will you actually use it?

Also, once activated, the Onetouch cannot be activated on another free plan for atleast 30 days Confused

Not me, I'm giving it to a family member to use. For $15, it's insignificant. And $15 is a pretty small hurdle if it helps you get in on a promo or swap phones, even if you have no intention to make calls with it when all is said and done. You could even sell it for $10 or so after you were done with it if the $15 is too much of a loss for you to handle. But if you have family or z trustworthy friend who doesn't have a cell, you could let them use it.

I know RingPlus always says 30 days, but I've found that If you move a free plan off of the phone or cancel the plan using that phone, you can reactivate that phone as part of a new line registration at the end of the billing cycle of the plan that you had moved the phone off or had canceled. I moved a phone off of a plan in at the beginning of October, and when I tried to register for a new Future promo with it the next day, the RP website said, "Your device is not allowed to register for another free plan until October 24, 2015 at 8:28pm PDT." So, that's clearly based on the billing cycle, since that's well less than 30 days, and the original plan I registered with that phone was Sept 24. Note - I'm speaking only of free plans. I understand pay plans don't have a restriction. I assume they day 30 days because a billing cycle runs for 30 days, but you would only run into a full 30 day wait if you registered a new line and immediately moved the device off of the plan (or canceled) the day you registered the plan and wanted to registered a "new" free line using that phone.

Also, if you activate the phone again by doing a device swap to it on an "existing" free plan, you can activate it again immediately.

Anyway, hope that helps or at least gives you something else to think about. Smilie
