Can't buy anything

The update made the app unusable for me. I get an error now when I click to buy a product. The error says that "phone to chrome" must be installed (an app I've used before). Also, the app disappeared from my home screen after the update, which is just a minor annoyance but it was a bad first impression.
My problems could be caused by my phone. But I'm not interested in figuring it out. Why should I fool with an app when the mobile site works well enough. The previous app version was also buggy - for instance, repeating the same series of deals as I scrolled.
So I don't need any response. I already uninstalled it and left a negative review. I'm only posting this message as a courtesy because SD responded to my review and asked me to.
On a side note, I have some advice for the app developers. When you update an app, you should build an obvious feedback mechanism into it. And you should prompt the user with an option to send feedback when they first open it and maybe after a day or so. This might cut down on the barrage of negative reviews that inevitably follow a buggy update.
