What's new?
Why would anyone want Diversity if there is Jasmine?

Pretty sure those plans are only available for those who erroneously switched to Future 5. So they can revert back to what they had.

I switched to Future Phase 5 before reading the restrictions. I still can't switch back to VIP Pepper. Says, "Invalid Plan" (or something similar)

Phase 3 is a bad memory because we were told throughout Phase 3 event #1 that the current member promo would start later. So when event #2 started for current members, the site became unavailable to most people, and the sold out within the first minute! And we still haven't been provided an opportunity to do a direct upgrade from existing free plan lines to Future, although it's possible to get another free plan's phone moved to a Future plan (with new phone number) using swaps.

It was actually 2-3 minutes, which doesn't mean much considering that most were unable to connect to the site. But yeah, I'm sure most of us would have signed up a new phone had we known just how bad the current user promo would be. I did manage to get one account upgraded, so it wasn't impossible.

I was able to upgrade to FP5.0 yesterday from existing free plan. You should able to do it from 10am PDT today

I did it but I am not eligible since I activated a Samsung Galaxy S3 without port-in old phone number.

Would you mind elaborating on it?

Looks like its best if you switch back to the previous plan, otherwise you may get downgraded to the basic free plan (?) (125 Min & 50 text) .

There were restrictions listed on the discourse the were not mentioned on the plan upgrade page

Update on the Current Promotion
We have reached our Member upgrade allotment for Future Phase 5.
The switching / port in option allotment for existing members is exhausted. Hence it's now closed.
We are aware that some Members switched to Future Phase 5, and haven't ported in yet from T-Mobile. If you have no intention to port in a T Mobile number by Monday (10/5) at noon, please switch back to the Jasmine plan, VIP Pepper, Free plan, or regular Pepper. All the free plans will be available at 5pm PDT today for switching back.
This will free up spaces again, and allow us to allocate the allotment for people who would qualify, and would like to switch with a regular port in from T mobile during the weekend.
Sign ups for new accounts will remain open (under Future Phase 6 – the Volunteer trials explained below). As stated before, the number of new sign ups is closely related to the number of switching allotments that we can give current members.
We are also opening the brand new Future Phase 6 The Volunteer trials. Here's how it works:
Every new member or existing Member can sign up as long he or she opens a new line without deactivating an old line. (one line per physical person). Every phone is eligible. The link for the rules of the new trial will be posted in here in a 5 min https://discourse.ringplus.net/t/...als/551835

This is weird. I have other non-Iphones on my account, but the Future 5 is available for upgrade.

Yes, it's available because we don't know if you will port a number from T mobile yet. We will see this on Monday. If you didn't port we will just put you back. Sorry for that. So please don't make more work for the team. We give existing members the same rules as new members.

A similar question. I have iPhone on VIP Pepper now. I am ready to switch to Future 5 now. In case I change to another phone (an Android but not HTC 510), I understand I can no longer be on Future 5. So will I be put back to VIP Pepper in case I do that? Thanks.

If the rules of any plan are broken, the telephone line will be switched to a designated default plan (which is currently the Truly Free plan). The Member then has the opportunity to change to any then available plan. This gives Members the opportunity then to chose one of the current offerings.
