Should I pre-order Fallout 4 (PC) at Best Buy for $48 plus $10 reward certificate?

My son wants a PC version of Fallout 4 for Christmas. I saw Best Buy is having a promo which gives $10 certificate for pre-ordering some video games. I have a Gamers Club membership which makes the game for $48 and I will get $10 reward certificate. So, the value of the game is going to be $38. Should I pre-order it now? Or do you think it will go cheaper before Christmas? What do you think?

$38 is a pretty good price for a new game. I think we'll probably see it on sale for $40 retail by Christmas but I don't know if there will be any sales below that price before then.

Thank you! I think I will go ahead and purchase the pre-order since I have Best Buy GC. I appreciate your input! Smilie

While it's likely there will be sales and cheaper deals on various marketplace sites, those are never a 100% guarantee. And $38 is a very good price for a new triple A game.

I agree that it's a good buy. Smilie
