I think so. Not the best price ever but I've been needing a 6 footer and the lowest I've found on an mfi (quality) cable was $8. This has a lifetime warranty so you either get 1 replacement or your money back.

Got these cables last time. Definitely not legit, but cheap nonetheless. My phone gives me the "not compatible with device" message every once in a while. But for $5 what do you expect?

Really? Why isn't it compatible? Never had an issue with my iPhone 5 or iPad Air. What iphone/ipad are you using with the monoprice cable?

iPhone 6. It doesn't happen all of the time but once a week I'll get the error message. I bought 3 of these last time, happens on all 3.

I'm using their cable on my daughter's Iphone 6, in fact 2 of them, and have never had any problem nor received any error messages. I have purchased their cables many times in the past including HDMI, Ethernet, micro usb, etc. Although the price is reasonably low, I can certainly say that I trust their product quality. I think your cable may be defected, and if you discuss it with them, they may replace it free of charge (or may be shipping.) -My 2 cents.

I bought 3 last special. I had a family member use while plugged in and the connector where the cable plugs in isn't rigid. But yes they will replace for free under warranty. But I did tell Monoprice that the cables / quality is very cheap. :-(

I thought the purpose of MFi was to prevent those error messages. Are you sure these are the same cable? I have aflat lightning cable [monoprice.com] with MFi from Monoprice and I don't get the error, but I also have a non-MFi cable that gives me that error.

hmmm...maybe it could be the AC adapter that you are using? Fluctuations in voltage, etc?

i bought 3' and 6' when they were really cheap. never had a single one throw an error on iphone 5s, 6, 6s, ipod touch or ipad 4. it could be lower quality power source and not the cable?

I am a monoprice fan overall, but these cables suck now after iOS 9 upgrade. Near constant "cable not comprise" message and refusal to charge. Other certified cables I have that are non-OEM still work. So, I can't recommended these
