Please kill the hovering top bar, or at least make it autohidable/disableable, esp. on mobile
The hovering bar:
- Wastes precious vertical space on widescreens
- Wastes precious space in general on smartphones
- Interferes with page-up/down scrolling by blocking a few lines, which the scroll distance doesn't account for
The desktop site has a setting to disable it, but it's buried deep, and only works while logged in. The mobile site has no setting at all.
If completely scrapping the top bar isn't an option, please at least make it autohide, and/or easier to disable, e.g. with a pin/unpin button right on the bar. Thanks for listening.
P.S.: I wrote this post as a guest, and the text was lost after logging in to submit it, even though the login screen specifically said it wouldn't be. Luckily I had it copy-pasted in Notepad just in case.
