Better than the direct deposit requirements with other checking promos. You can crank out 15 transactions pretty fast, especially if you already pay bills online.

It's a pretty good return with easy requirements. And only 100.00 balance to avoid any service fees.

How do y'all suggest doing the 15 debit card transactions? I would rather not use it to pay bills and that sort of thing. I prefer my cash back credit card for most all my purchases. There is only so many packs of gum I need. lol

I guess it takes awhile for the debit card to get mailed to us. Do they start counting the 30 days after we join or when we get the debit card?

ETA:

I just googled the 15 debit card transactions and saw an excellent idea or 2:

Self-Serve Checkout

If your local grocery store has self-serve checkout lane, go when the traffic is lower (after or before lunch on a weekday) and break up your regular purchase into individual ones. You don't have to buy sticks of gum, unless you like sticks of gum. Buy whatever you'd buy normally and break it up into individual purchases. Be sure to go during slow periods so you don't hold up the line. If you don't want to do it at the grocery store, some home improvement stores, Home Depot, also have self-checkout lanes.

Other classics include filling up small amounts of gasoline and other "small but frequent transaction" types, but they all require a significant amount of time (which these three ideas seem to cut down on).

Looks like you have 60 days to do 15 transactions. An easy way I can think of (if no one is behind you!) is to fill up your car with gas in $5 increments.

Go to 24hr walmart/kroger/meijer at about 130am so you wont piss off waiting customers, make sure self checkout is open so you wont piss off workers, pick up 15 35ยข packs of winterfresh/juicy fruit/extra gum....ring up each pack of gum in separate transactions...profit!
