Thread Details

Options Express is currently offering a $150 amazon gift card if you open a new account and deposit $1000 dollars and make 10 trades within 90 days.

I was just researching better penny stock brokers for stocks under $1-2 cause my current broker charges a % on these types of transactions. Turns out Options Express is one of the best out there and is having a great deal. For people who do trading the amazon gift card is like free money. Hope this helps a few people out.

So I could do 10 $1 trades and get a $150 amazon gift card - and then withdraw my $990 and close the account?

They have no $1 trades, their trades are $9.95 a trade for stock. They have options and bonds for lower $3.50, but I am not sure if those count. After you place your 10 trades, yes you can close out your account. Unfortunately there is a processing fee for transferring the money out I don't know what it is off the top of my head but pretty sure it was between $30-$60. In the long run this is made so it cant be scammed, and is there as a benefit for real traders.

those ten trades can be expensive. looks like the cheapest option is futures which comes out to be $35. coupled with the closing fee makes the deal even more lame
