Sigh... How many times does this "deal" need to be offered before people realize that you can get better pricing on their own website. Each and every time.

This is not entirely true. For example Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires cost $440 (after coupon) on eBay where on their site it will cost me $620.

Thanks! Just bought a set of 4 Falkens for 333! The breakdown is: 400 tires + 33 tax - 100 discount = 333! Love the free shipping too! Once I get them, off to their shop to install!

Not the case with all tires. The ones I just got are 114 + tax on their website, I just paid 83 per tire including tax!

Agreed; I was able to get YK580's for a good amount less through DTD's ebay store

Just ask your local DT to match the ebay price.

Perhaps... Just checked the tires I am eyeing, this time they are $30/tire cheaper on eBay. Live and learn... Thx for the correction. Do they charge tax on eBay? Because if they do that automatically swings the deal in favor of their website. What about replacement certificates? Sometimes they offer these on eBay.

They will add 8% tax. I am still far better off buying from DTD or eBay (if they don't charge tax) and getting them installed for $16/tire locally.

Pretty sure they'll match the price at the local store or at DTD but won't match the ebay rebate. I wanted to do this because I planned to use my DTD credit card (in order to use the 0% financing) for a set of tires so I contacted a sales rep at DTD and was told that they could match the cost of the tires on their ebay site but couldn't do the extra $100.

If I buy these.. can I go to Discount/Americas tire to put them in, or do I have to put them in myself? Anyone know? I have never purchased tires online.

Does the ebay price for tires also including mounting and balancing? If not, how much extra is that?

Yes, I just got off the phone with my local shop. $16 for installation and $8 for TPMS kit

The prices are per tire and include the lifetime balancing and rotation.

No, if you want your local Discount shop to install these, you have to make an appointment with them.

I just called my local shop and advised them that I just ordered a set of 4 from their DTD version on ebay. My shop prices:

$16 for installation and $8 for TPMS kit

The prices are per tire and include the lifetime balancing and rotation.
