Looking to replace my cooking sets.

Preferably would like to purchaser something that doesn't have the issues of Teflon pans.my Teflon gets chipped and till I replace them they leak chemicals into the food.

What food sets or single cookware have used that you would recommend?

I have the below set and am very happy with it. After 3 years no chipping at all of the Teflon pans.

I bought this set, for $85 +$20 KC.

I read that pans should have thick bottoms and these don't have it. Im not sure if I should keep it or return and invest in a couple of stainless steel pans. I like the idea of ceramic cookware, since its non-stick and healthier.

I understand your concern with the Teflon issue, but I think if you get the better quality ones, you should have no problem.

I purchased this set from a special deal earlier this year..

http://www.amazon.com/T-fal-Signa...d+anodized

I got the 18 pc set on a great deal at $145 (I think it was a lightning deal). I can't remember which card I used, but got some additional off as well.

Its hard anodized, which I am told is very good (I'm no expert on this subject), but have been extremely pleased with the set, without any problems at all.

Again, I am no expert, but it may be something to look at. I have tried stainless and cast iron, but have not had a lot of luck with those personally (I'm probably doing something wrong, but have tried to use all suggestions when using them).

Hope this helps. Smilie

Now I am looking into, Zwilling J.A. Henckels Spirit Stainless Steel Ceramic Nonstick Skillets.

Does anyone know how much I should be paying for 1-2 frying pans and a small sauce pot?
