The form will not let me change the state. Looks like it is only for those in California.

The freebie is for CA residents only.

There are several identical threads in Hot Deals for it (not sure why mods won't merge them).

The DiscountMags deal is also posted in Hot Deals

Doesn't anyone want to be creative...

Just enter all your correct information, but leave the state as Calif.

Doesn't cost anything to try, and maybe (or hopefully) it will show up on the publisher's client portal, where you can then update the incorrect state.

I sent one to NY, so time will tell...

I filled it out for Michigan...for city, the form allows you to continue typing like this:

Pinckney, Michigan
48169

This is fun even if I don't get the magsLMAO

Yup, same experience here...I worked at UPS loading the big trailers; taking boxes off a conveyor belt and directing them by zip code to the proper trailer.

Usually, the Postal Service will assume a mistake if your State is similar to CA, such as GA, VA..... I'm not saying you should do that, since this was specifcially an offer for CA residents. I'm just saying, usually the Magazine Fulfillment centers will ctahc it and if they don't the Post Office will unless they assume a typo and then they always go by the ZIP CODE ONLY.
