thanks did this and got some mags for free with points. Then was offered bunch of mags for $2. like time and such. Not a bad way to get a year for $2/yr but don't know if they do auto renew or such. Time to go get a visa gc to use with these deals. All I need is like $20 for 10 mags. LOL

Yes, you can read all the fine print and they do indeed auto-renew. You must cancel the auto-renew no matter what method you choose to use for payment.

The $2 mags in the link you indicated are from MagazineOutlet, which is different from the $2 magazines offered via RewardSurvey, the ones offered at RewardSurvey are from BlueDolphin.

Folks interested in the $2 subs should be very careful - these subscriptions do auto-renew - all the fine print should be read very carefully.

One thing folks should remember - is that you MUST cancel the auto-renew, no matter how you choose to pay. Using a credit card that is about to expire, for example, does not absolve you from canceling the auto-renew. There is a recent thread from a fellow SD'er that did indeed cancel that auto-renew, but yet was still charged for renewals. Caveat emptor.

I apologize. I thought the above mentioned thread was about BlueDolphin. Indeed, caution is needed. I am still hesitant to try out MagazineOutlet, as there are posts about this company on a Rip-off website. Not to mention BlueDolphin, which I do not intend to try out at all.

I can only go by my own experience - but I ordered once from BlueDolphin. I followed their instructions to cancel the auto-renew (you email them). They replied that the auto-renew was cancelled. Unfortunately, I ended up getting charged for renewals. Frown I did get my $ back, but it took awhile and a lot of emails.

I've ordered from MagazineOutlet MANY times over the years with absolutely no problems. You cancel the auto-renew via your account at the MagazineOutlet website. I was very happy with them. I am feeling a little unsure about them now, due to recently reading about another SD'er who did indeed cancel the auto-renew, but still got charged for renewals. They did get their $ back promptly after contacting MagazineOutlet.

So...if someone is interested in the $2 magazines, what I would recommend...is to use MagazineOutlet (not BlueDolphin). As soon as you see the charges for your magazines - cancel the auto-renew. After you've cancelled the auto-renew, "update" your cc in the MagazineOutlet system with an expired cc #.
