Anyone have first hand experience with how well this penetrates through brick or cinder block walls?

never knew how much better a little more high -end routers could be.

i've been using powerline adapters, and it hasn't been cutting it. (I live in a really old house, and any time someone turns electronic devices on/off lights flicker and it drops my connection).

i just hope between this and the ASUS PCE AC56 it can go through 1 floor on opposite end of the house Stick Out Tongue

Don't know about brick, but I used to have to use a repeater at my house and don't anymore.

This is the same model you can get for free from T-Mobile if you're a subscriber. I keep mine in the far corner in a 2000sqft two story home. I get pretty good reception throughout the house.

This is a good one , I got new from target clearance for $71 only(Refer earlier threads) . Still worth 147, but if you can wait for black friday than better deal should be around corner.

Anyone know if this is compatible with the ARRIS SurfBoard SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem – 600 MHz Dual-Thread Processor? And with Time Warner?
