Best cheap 9" or 10" Android Tablet for around $100?

I am looking for a cheap Android tablet for a kid.

Right now my kids have a Nook HD and Nook HD+ both running Cyanogenmod CM11.

I want to replace the Nook HD with a larger tablet. Is a used Nook HD+ still a good value, or should I be looking at some of the off-brand $100 - $120 tablets.

The Nook HD+ is getting a little old, but it has a fantastic screen, has good build quality, and is very rugged. The only thing I do not like about it is the annoying proprietary charger connector.

I bought it before. Work fine. Recommed.
