Amazon price matched!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y9PZEP8

Previous lowest price on this was back in January... after more than half of winter has past:

Can combine this sale with the Lowe's gift card deal on eBay to save another $20, but you'll have to wait for them to send you the gift cards.

They also have other Greenworks snow blowers on sale, but I recommend sticking with the 80-Volt model.

FYI regarding batteries and interchangeability:
  • The Greenworks 80v tools are completely different from the 40v tools, and the batteries/tools are not interchangeable between the different voltage lines.
    .
  • Kobalt 80v tools are simply rebranded Greenworks tools; they're the same. However, the 80v batteries are NOT interchangeable between the brands. Kobalt messed with the guide-slot of their batteries, so no tools, batteries, or chargers can be shared across the brands, despite them being sold right next to each other in Lowes, and otherwise being identical. It is possible to "mod" the batteries or tools to work, but takes a considerable effort.

Q&A from Amazon (answers are from Greenworks):

Question: Does the plastic blades cover under warranty ? Look like easy to break
Answer: No, the impellor, as well as parts such as the scraper and drive belt are not covered under the warranty, they are considered "wearable" items. The impellor is quite tough and resilient, as long as it does not hit concrete or a large piece of ice it is fine. This type has been used for many years in the US and Canada.

Question: What is the warranty?
Answer: The unit carries a 4 year warranty against defects in materials, parts and workmanship, repair or replace parts or product at Greenworks discretion. The battery and charger carry a 2 year warranty.

Be aware that buying giftcards on ebay can take a while to receive. I bought from GiftCardMall and it took 7 days or so to get to me. Physical cards only.

To get $10 off of your order at Lowe's, scroll down on their home page to the bottom, and check off the box for email alerts. They will email to you a $10 off coupon code.

Tempting. I have a bunch of their 40v items (mower, blower/vac, string trimmer, hedge trimmer) and am happy with them. But definitely would go 80v for the snowblower.

I have this and it works great. Just an FYI, deep and/or heavy snow does take a toll on run time. Never had it jam though even with some significant snow last year.

Your link is for the 40v model. OP's is for the 80V...two completely different machines.

Should I get this or coded snow blower? I have a small drive way and already have 100ft power cord. What is the advantage of getting 80v besides code less operation?

All - it is NOT clear that this comes with the 80V battery included.

Greenworks sells all their 80V equipment in two options: budnled with battery and stand-alone without battery.

I looked through all the Lowe's descriptions and could not find any mention of battery included.

If it comes with a battery, this is a slick deal.

If it does not, this is more expensive than Amazon and not a good deal.

Anyone find anything that can confirm whether battery is included or not? Hopefully it does!

Cordless is so much easier than managing a long power cord. Plus getting an insulated cord long enough for your driveway will probably be another $60-$80 not included in the price of corded blower

Looks like it does, by searching the Lowes Model Number at Greenworks:
http://www.greenworkstools.com/80...w-thrower/

Model 2600402: 80V Cordless Snow Thrower, includes 2AH Battery and Charger
What's in the Box: Snow Thrower, 2.0AH Battery and Charger, and Owner's Manual
