I have problem with me refrigerator of Dawlance Company. It gets fail to make ice in hot weather even in 6 hours of continuous working. In other days it works sound and give required performance in 3-4 hours. It is 7-8 years old machine. Can this problem be tackled or not. Will I have to buy new one?

I found two of the gas tubings inside of the gas range (MAYTAG Appliance Major Chef, Model 31213WAV, Serial 32564490um) were broken.

I opened it and but don't know how to unmount the tubings from the fitting assembly.

It maybe easy to buy and install the whole two Burner Orifice Fitting Assembly (#19), but they are too expensive.

If I want to just buy two TUBING- OV (#11), I need to remove them first from the Assembly.

Can anyone guide me how to unmount them please?

The part isn't especially expensive... almost not worth your time to fix it if you can easily get another.

does anyone know where the defrost wiring and thermostat for a samsung RF26xears fridge is? the vent are frosted and the fan is making noise.

A power surge killed the compressor on my Whirlpool fridge today, so I need to buy a new one.

Can't be larger than 33 1/4" wide. Any way to tell which models are actually decently made when looking at Amana, etc?

You sure the compressor is really dead? Sometimes a starting cap will go, and sometimes there's a relay that can be replaced.

Yeah, it's a goner. After the surge it was making a hammering sound for a few minutes then shut down. A friend who knows a little about appliances came and pronounced it dead.

I've had nothing but problems with this thing anyway (in fact BikeEric two or so years ago helped my install a heater in the freezer because it kept leaking into the fridge.)

We want a bottom-mounted freezer (prefer French door but might be hard to find in max 33 1/2" wide) and for it to have a water dispenser (inside, not an exterior door/ice unit)

Pretty simple fix. It will be a pan at the bottom after removing the inside cover.
if you have a steamer with a wand, it works great to melt ice.
it looks like this frig was recalled a few years back for a bad relay on the compressor. did you have yours fixed? it was a fire hazard

We did not receive any re-call info, but then again, we may not have registered the product. Thank you for the reply and suggestion. We don't have a steamer and I know we want to be careful with unclogging the line.

So is it ice that typically clogs the line? Also, is the general approach towards melting and/or pushing the clog through the line down into the pan?

Just recently the water dispenser stopped dispensing water. I replaced the water filter and reset the indicator light, but to no avail. I did some research and some people were saying a control board needs to be replaced but I am not sure that's the problem.

Some info that may or may not be related: The icemaker stopped making ice about 2 years ago but I never fixed it since I really didn't use ice much. I've been using 2 ice cube trays since then.

most times its ice. a slime can build up also but that usually just surface and not a clog. the lines are pretty tough but i still wouldnt use a coat hangar. I'll cook some water in the microwave. if the shopvac took care of it last time it may just be the slime.
you should have no problem seeing which it is

it could be the water inlet valve. Maybe use a voltmeter back at the vale to see if you get juice when pushing the water lever.
