Thread Details

wow how many FF3-style RPGs can you have??

$1 Tier:
Symphony of the Origin
Eclipse of Illusion
Eve of the Genesis HD (Even works Pre-Honeycomb, No Gamepad support)

Silver Nornir (No Gamepad support)
Fortuna Magus
Legend of Ixtona (SRPG)
Another game coming soon!

my comments, while it's always a good price on HB, Kemco games are often on sale at the google play store and elsewhere so can be had for ~99 cents a lot of the time. Be wary of that and don't overspend sight unseen. No gamepad support does not say gamepad mappers like on the Shield devices wouldn't work- I'm not sure if they do or not.

Interesting how it says each game is a special edition Humble Bundle version of the game and may vary from other versions. Wonder what that entails.

Anyone play any of these games? Curious to seeing which game would be the best to start with.

All but one looks to be an RPG Maker game. These are churned out garbage.

Aeon Adventure added if you can't get enough! plus for your BTA price they've implemented a 'scale' where if they raise enough they'll unlock more. Kemco RPGs (in my experience) ARE Kemco RPGs, all basically the same, little gameplay addition here and there but all pretty much the same general cliche. Jonestly I don't know what keeps them in buisiness but I just can't get enough of them! lol

And again with 2 more added to the pile (for 6 bucks) it's more of a quantity over quality deal imo. Only if you have the time (say 10-15 hours per game), if you LOVE the genre and can spare the few bucks (with an amount of it going to charity).

As for the best one, I hear the Symphony one in the base tier is from their 'A' team. Realize all of these are turn-based EXCEPT the CRPG, if your a sucker for that (Tactics/ Fire Emblem) kind of game like I am you might like it better!
