How many of you have traveled there? If so, can you share your plans on the trip from visa, immunization, hotel deals, etc? Is 7 days there enough not counting flight time? Recommend any other cities for day trip while in Prague? I have to book the trip by the end of this year due to my United miles expiring. Let me know. Thanks.

7 days is enough if you're just going to Prague. If you're planning to travel around the Czech republic, more time would be needed.

Been there MANY MANY times and it's one of the most beautiful cities in Europe IMO.

No visa needed with a US passport. Immunizations? I wouldn't worry about it. You're not going to a 3rd world country.

I went to Prague a little under two years ago, it's a fantastic and pretty city worth visiting. As far as visa and immunization go; there are no visa requirements for US Citizens and no immunizations necessary. While Prague is great, it is not a very big city and you can see virtually everything of importance within 2-3 days. I would recommend going to Vienna from Prague by train. Vienna is an amazing city and there is much more to see/do so killing a few days there isn't an issue. Also, there are no visa/immunization requirements either (assuming you are a US Citizen). However, it is not really a day trip since it is a ~4 hour train journey each way but the trip is super easy and comfortable even if you don't speak any Czech or German (I definitely don't). Hope this helps.

If your miles are expiring why don't you download the United MileagePlus app and purchase an amazon gift card or something. It will immediately extend your miles for 18 more months!

The trouble with that statement is that it is your personal opinion; many would disagree.

"Importance" is very subjective. Why not share what you saw and what you liked about it and let OP decide?

Obviously you prefer Vienna; many of us do not.

Happy trails, OP.
