I thought same - it's awesome price I been tracking this model for quite while now. Definitely Good price, mostly all TV threads start with TD due Black Friday coming soon.

Most SD people know the prices we see every other day is most likely better than BF prices. BF is for the general public and for some outdated TV's that we will never be able to buy since it will be OOS as soon as it goes live.

This isn't directly for this deal, but with Dell which is the best way to use multiple gift cards? I have 5 or 6 $25 gift cards from purchasing video games that I would like to use all on one TV. Can I have them combine them all into one before? Or should I call them up when I find the deal i want?

Does anyone have any experience with Dell on returns/exchanges in case of defects or just not liking the PQ? It's been a few years since I bought anything from Dell and I have never had to return/exchange anything. I have been considering this set for a while to replace a Sony HX820 in use as a monitor for the increased pixel density and 1080P/120HZ gaming. My one major concern is that it uses frame dimming instead of a more complex "local dimming" system found on the HX820. I have not been able to get an accurate gauge of the set anytime I have seen it in store so I really need to be able to try it in home. There have also been reports of some pretty bad light bleed with some of these so I just want to make sure that I am not going to have to fight to be covered for these issues.

And just so people are aware, e.b.a.t.e.s still has 13% back, which is another $195 towards the cost of the tv. So the breakdown is 1498-500 (dell GC)-195 (cashback)-75(dell GC)=$728+tax on $1498.

Dell GC threads talk about this in detail, but let me fill you in:
The GC's you have from those deals are all promo GC's. Promo GC's can never be combined as per dell, though some have had very limited success.
If you want to buy this tv, don' purchase through a rep since you will lose out on 13% cashback from the site I mentioned above.
But if you want to use those GC's, you would have to chat/call and the maximum allowed on a single transaction is 3. But the 3 GC's should cover the entire transaction amount including tax. So if you are buying an item worth $75, it would be $75+tax which means you cannot use 3 $25 GC's. Instead, you can use 2 and the last one needs to cover the remaining amount.

I appreciate the replies. Thanks! I wasn't aware there was a separate Dell GC thread.
