Beware this model - it has constant issues if you have "hard" water.

I have both a Keurig and Cuisinart machine, I always use filtered or spring water which is one of the reasons mines last quite long. It's also recommended per the instruction manual from both

We use filtered water here for all fill ups but it isn't enough.

The water here is great for distilling liquor but not great for leaving behind no residue.

I don't think using spring water makes sense. Are you sure the manual says that? Spring water is often mineral rich and will do the same.

don't bother listing refurb in the title, not like it's important

I've been using mine for a while as well without any issues and I use water from my tap... not sure if it makes a difference but it's well water.

I paid a bit more... definitely worth more than $60 imho.

Love this machine, but the water pump doesn't seems to pump enough water when making coffee. Got a returned RMA but have not send it back yet. Should I buy another to try?

I have used one of these for 2+ years and had to descale it one time so far. NBD if you ask me but apparently some people don't want to have to put in 15-30 minutes of maintenance every year or two.

Listen up....I bought this Asa refurbished one from eBay buydig....worked great for the first 6 cups then stopped pumping water. I Googled the model and problems. ..there's a bit out there. I chose the advice to remove the charcoal filter unit and holder to reduce the resistance on the pump as I already have triple filtered under the sink water. This worked perfectly. I got an RMA Fedex....but I'm keeping it now.

Just found the My Kcup device neatly hidden behind a door on the right side of the machine. Definitely keeping it now. It provides a lot of options for hot drinks to supplement our Cuisinart Grin n brew coffee maker. For $60 delivered, it's a steal.
