Nice try though.

The above posts would be even better if it were under NDA, which it is not.

Having said that, it's a lot of fun. Good environments, fun game modes, and classes that have enough uniqueness to them that they don't all feel the same.

The only real downside that I see is the Blizzard buy-to-play business model decision. Sure, it'll keep some cheaters away, but with a near twin named Paladin also in the works (from the folks that make Smite) that is likely to be free-to-play, it's a bit of a hard sell. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

i'd rather it be buy to play than pay to win. keeps trolls and cheating down.

I am tired of free to play.

So I noticed that that they decided to require a game purchase, but have they mentioned if they're still going to run with the F2P microtransactions? Wouldn't be particularly motivated to play if you're paying $40 on top of a system like Heroes where heroes run you $10 at release.

Played it this weekend, it's fun but the controls didn't feel super tight to me. I was playing on a PC though and typically play FPS on consoles for what it's worth though.

The number of characters was sort of overwhelming to start with.
