I need to convert to a PST file

MyronGold666 1 10 October 31, 2015 at 11:57 PM
Hello,

I have an OST file which I need to convert to a PST file - can anyone recommend a way to do this please which does not involve spending a fair amount on software I will only use once?

These files do contain confidential information so Ideally I dont want to send them off to be converted anywhere Wink

thanks

I suspect this thread, the one you linked to, and several others recently about corrupt office files are all spam. A person or bot posts for the first time asking a question and waits for a few other people to respond before another account associated with the OP, replies for the first time and one or more of the links in their post are something they're trying to promote. There have been about 6 threads like this in the last week or so (some are gone now).

This isn't the smartest tactic because the redirects slickdeals use reduce the likelihood a search engine will follow the link. SD might even be slapping nofollows on the links or disallowing the redirects in their robot's.txt. It's a little interesting that their ins't an obvious effort by the op's to embed affiliate links of some kind, but I suspect the alternative is keyed to the username that posted it. If there were any unique crawlers hitting these spammed pages that might make them easier to block Smilie

With the recent surge in these posts, I suggest a little skepticism of threads where the OP is a new member, first time poster, makes some grammatical mistakes, and asks something about a Microsoft office product.
