Staples has the iPad Air 2's on sale this week.

Target is running a 10% Cartwheel coupon on iPads again. Price match Staples' price, and then use Cartwheel.

Technically, Target can deny the Cartwheel, but a lot of reps will still do it. The other option is to add a few cheap things so the rep won't know you're using the Cartwheel on the iPad.

Also, if you happen to have a registry coupon, you might be able to get an extra 15% off.

Plus Redcard for another automatic 5%.

Will be running out later, but a similar deal ($450 at Staples) happened a few weeks ago. People were getting the match, cartwheel, registry, and 5% Redcard discount.

When you suggest adding a few cheap items to mask your use of the cartwheel on the ipad, how do you do that? Do you do the price match at a register or customer service? How would you do the price match and add a bag of grapes to purchase at the same time?

I've only done a pm once and it was the only item on the receipt (and was already paid for).

I've usually been able to do electronics matches in that department. I'd have the other items (if you can find a cheap Cartwheel item, even better) ready and ask to ring them up with it.
Also, if you don't mind returning to the store in a day or two, you could buy a few items and return them.

Try to work with a college-aged kid, frat/sorority type. They'll be more likely to match with Cartwheel.

That's if you have Apple pay and got into the Discover Cashback promo... which is a minority of SDers. More SDers can pull this off.

I did on the last go around. Price match has to be done at customer service, so if you have a few more items for them to ring up and then show the cartwheel barcode, it may or may not go unnoticed. I usually find some items with the cartwheel offered on it so that the rep doesn't get tipped off that I used the CW on price matched item.

Yeah...I have apple pay and discover, but don't have the promo because I'm not a new cardmember. This is a better deal for me....if they take a pm and a cartwheel.

Will the cartwheel discount be based on Target's price or the pm price?

If I remember from the last thread, the pm price.

Hmmm, weird, twice in the past year one done it right at Electronics. One called a manager over the phone for approval (and choose I think) and the other did it all themselves.

Target just began its holiday return period, so the return countdown doesn't even start until Dec 26th. Get this if you can, don't open, and if you grab one cheaper, return it.

If i can do cartwheel and red card it will be about 432 with tax. Is it worth it? I was hoping I could find one for $400.
