SHELL SHOCKER DEAL: The Sparkle R-FSP400-60ETN sale price will update at 1:00 PM PT on Sunday, November 1st, 2015.
Those who may need multiple PSUs (system builders, F&F etc.) may want to watch this deal closely. Right now, Newegg's price on quantity of 5 is already at $24.40 after the coupon. When this goes live in an hour, I wonder if the quantity discount price will drop too.

EDIT:
Looks like they removed the quantity discount.

Got the Sparkle 400W Platinum PSU, thanks OP!!

I'm going to load test my current setup to see if I'm well below the 400W (I'm probably below 300W full load). Then compare the idle with the old and new PSU, old one is a Seasonic 80+ from years back. If its not a suitable psu for my setup, I'll just hold on to it since it was so cheap.

use promo code: 1101NPOWER05

this PSU is made by FSP, who make PSUs for most Lenovo desktops, EVGA (G1 series), Antec, etc. as well as for medical and industrial purposes.

I'm not sure exactly how well this unit performs in terms of ripple suppression and voltage regulation, but at $24 it's a steal. FSP is one of the world's biggest PSU manufacturers. they wouldn't try to sell trash.

perfect for media HTPC, home made NAS, etc. it will even handle a gaming PC with a GTX 970 or lower power GPU, but you will have to use the molex to PCI-E cables bundled with your GPU as this unit only comes with one PCI-E connector.

Maybe because I'm on mobile but I'm not seeing a warranty term. That is worrisome.

Sparkle's website says 5 yr. Not sure why Newegg doesn't list it!

it's because the interns at newegg are lazy as hell and often omit or put down specs incorrectly.

Sparkle PSU warranty is 1 year from purchase that can be extended to 5 years once you register it.

sold. you can hang high wattage LED's all over the outside of your house and power it all with one of these.

alternative "regular" 12v power supplies that push 300+ watts run at least $70

i know a lot of people dont realize how much cheaper computer power supplies are when you just need 12v. i guess its a supply/demand thing

you also get the added benefit of 5v lines if you need them for sensors or whatnot
