Was debating on this, as it's time to wash and store all our summer clothes. Then read the following review, which explains many of the small number of highly negative reviews. Looks great for regular use, but be careful using on clothes (or sheets) you're going to store away for several months.

1.0 out of 5 starsFree and sensitive doesn't tell the whole story

Scent Name: FreeVerified Purchase
I have not used dryer sheets for a long time, until my mom came for a long visit and insisted on having them. I'm very sensitive to scented household goods, so I knew that I couldn't use the regular scented Bounce sheets. So I came to Amazon and found these and thought - Okay! Perfect - unscented!

Well, I began using these out of habit after mom left - plus I felt I had to use them up. But after a while, I noticed that items I didn't use for awhile after drying with these sheets smelled funny. Like guest room sheets and towels, seldom-worn clothing. I couldn't figure it out. But then it hit me - it's the Bounce "free and sensitive" sheets - they were making the fabrics smell rancid!

The ingredients do call out a non-specific "fatty acid" as well as stearic acid, which is a saturated fatty acid that is commonly sourced from animals (think tallow). I think the fatty acids in the sheets are what is causing my fabrics to smell "off". Anyway, product manufacturers are required to list only the ingredients that are active disinfectants or known to be hazardous - so they don't list all ingredients specifically.

I threw away the remainder of the box and re-washed the guest sheets and towels. Luckily where I live static cling is not a problem, and if it was, I would look for some other alternative to the chemical-laden dryer sheets - even the so-called "free and sensitive" ones.

Amazon has been doing this on purpose lately. Using SD on few low ball prices then changing them fast to obtain people going there. Target has all the deals now imo.
