The 970 is a solid card and should play most current games on high to max settings.

At this price point, it's probably just as much of a deal as the MSI (or any) 390 card. The 390 is arguably a better card, but finding it below $300 is rare.

I'd say this is a fair deal.

Are you sure you get a coupon code for the free game buying it through Newegg on eBay?

I don't think you do. I guess you could always try contacting newegg support though.

Choose between Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Siege or Assassin's Creed® Syndicate for free.

However eBay is not listed. Newegg is listed as an authorized retailer though.

Gimped card. 3.5gb issue is a legitimate issue for anyone who games at 1080p. If you game at 720 you'll be fine. Anything higher with high or max settings and you'll inevitably run into issues. Especially if you use more than one monitor.

I run 2560x1440, and two other monitors. I play all games 60fps+ no issues and graphics are ultra. This is a good card for this price.

but in 6-12 months from now when more and more games start supporting dx12 .. this card will have no resell value
