Not receiving reps and not showing as original poster..

Hi,

I posted this deal (it now hit front page):
http://slickdeals.net/f/8161320-american-tourister-glider-5pc-spinner-luggage-set-28-24-20-boarding-toiletry-bag-set-140-free-shipping?p=79105997#post79105997

I'm not receiving any reps from it when people click I bought this... and in fact no reps at all for a front page deal seems like something is broken. It doesn't even show that I'm the original poster when I put reply's in that thread.

Thanks!

Hi,

You are showing as the OP of that thread.

Also the most recent couple of reps that you received (the ones for that thread) are from new members. Their reps don't carry a numerical value but they can still rep to let you know they appreciated the deal.

You can go into your profile and look at your reputation. You should see a couple that are charcoal instead of green. That means they are a new member and haven't become established members yet.

I thought one also gets reps for everyone person that clicks "I bought this deal"

You should have and I do see that they don't equal out. I will make a ticket for the devs to look into this.

Thanks!

I suspect there are a lot of missing reps that I should have gotten. Please look over my account in general.

I just asked the developers about this...and one of the things that would make the number not equal out is that members are limited in how many times they can rep in a given period or how many times they can rep the same person in a given period of time. So those wouldn't count when clicking that button.

*I hadn't considered those scenarios earlier.
