Almost no links from the app successfully open in Safari

Almost every time I click on link on the iPhone app, I get this: and this has been going on for a long time. Both the previous version of the app and the current version do this. It makes the app essentially unusable.

By current version, do you mean the 3.0 that we released yesterday?

We will investigate this asap. Can you let me know the OS and phone you are using? Reach out to ios@slickdeals.net as well if you'd prefer to.

Thanks!

It's your content blocker. If I turn off Purify, my issue (same as yours) goes away.

What sites need to be added for it to work ok?

Yes, version 3.0 and previous versions have this problem. Looking at MBaran's comment, my content blocker on my iPhone (Purify) could be contributing to this problem.

My iPhone is an iPhone 6 16GB Black from Verizon running iOS 9.1 (13B143). Model Number is MG5X2LL/A.

This could be the problem. What should I whitelist in Purify? I don't know much about Purify, I just picked it up when I saw it here on SD.

I am not sure, I haven't figured out what sites to whitelist either.

Also on Safari and have content blockers enabled. Pretty much makes the app unusable and I don't know what to disable.

Yes, we've confirmed that the external linking issues are caused by ad blockers. We are now investigating which ad blockers are causing the problem so we can provide a recommended list. The short term solution for the Slickdeals app is to disable ad blocker apps.

Did you see the above suggestions relating to ad blocker? Do you have an ad blocker installed on your device?
