Can anyone recommend the best blender for under $100? My mom makes daily smoothies and honestly I feel like our $30 blender does just fine, but its dying.

It sounds like theres a whole other world/side to blending that I'm not aware of. What are you guys making with the blendtec/vitamix besides smoothies and shakes? Someone mentioned peanut butter and hummus - am I missing anything else?
You can get one of those Ninja blender... Consumer Report rated a Best Buy on one model... I think it is the Pro one? I have to check CS website and find out. Give me a sec and I will look it up for you.

Go here and you too can check it out on

After you get the information to sign in go here:

Okay I have convert it to PDF and has place the blender rating for everything plus one filter it out to only Ninja brand.

Update: Oh... here is an article about it $100 or Lower Cost Rating:

This seem I was right the Pro was the best one for Ninja and I think it was on the latest ConsumerReport Dec issue on the blender best buy one - Ninja Professional NJ600.

This Blendtec 1,560 Watt Total Blender Classic with Wild Side Jar, Refurbished may not come with the Fresh Blends Recipe Book.

One Q&A from Walmart user claim it doesn't come with this recipe book. If I have to buy this recipe book I might as well get it directly at Blendtec.

Good price...Fp material . So annoying that they don't have an "on the go" blending container for these.

Just a note on Blendtec customer service. My blender's jar bearings failed after a gazillion cycles. A 5 minute call later, they had a brand new jar on its way and asked me to recycle the old one. They also told me the new jar is also warranted an additional 3 years.

We use ours at least once a day, more often a few times. It replaces so many other appliances and also makes a k!ck@ss smoothie to boot!

Almost the same priced we paid for it last year. We have used ours multiple times daily and it has been awesome (about 1400 times since christmas says the blender odometer) We are looking to get a twister jar to go with it next time they go on a flash sell. Still works like new

Great deal OP! I bought that Hamilton Beach Jamba Juice one for $199 a while back - been very happy with it, but would rather have a Blendtec. Work with this company as a supplier to our company - top notch organization.

Thanks OP! Fry's stocks the refurb and I was able to price match it. A bit loud but it works great and actually fits under the cabinets.
