Rebate rejected, Feeling its NOT FAIR.!!!!!!

I have bought a product VIZIO S2121W-D0 - Sound stand - 2.1-channel - wireless - black for 99.99$ with Rebate of 30$.

I have ordered this product on Aug 13, 2015 and I have registered my rebate on the same day.
I need to submit my rebate documentation by SEP 12th.
However, I have not received the product till SEP 4th evening. And I was out of the time so I could not send the forms by Sept 12th. And around the same time, i informed Slick deals rebate contact number, about the delay in receiving the product. they said, they will consider 30 days from the day of receiving the product.

I have submitted rebate o after i returned home from trip and the documents received on n Sep 26th, This is still 30 days from Sept 4th (date i received the product).

Rebate processing center rejected with reason its should receive before SEPT 12th(30 day from date of purchase). In fact, this is 8th day after i received this product

I have called rebate center and explained the reason and my previous call details, then they asked me prof that i got this product on SEPT 4th.
I have submitted the tracking number and email prof from DELL when they shipped this product.
Once received, REBATE center again rejected my rebate with the same reason, that I should submit my rebate with in 30 days or purchase and not listening my explanation this time.

Since Slick deals is telling i should submit the rebate by SEPT12th, this is 8 days after I received my product why are they giving 30 days time to submit the rebate? The executive i was talking, saying i can submit this rebate in those 8 days :-(

I am feeling like I was cheated with this experience. However, learnt a lesson for teh cost of $30, that REBATE deals with Slickdeals is the WORST idea. I am still glad that this happened before THANKS GIVING and Christmas season, otherwise, i would have trapped with more money on this.
Hope my experience will help other customers of slickdeals.

Hiif you have email trail with our rebate team at rebates@slickdeals.net, can you reply to it now and i'll escalate it for a 2nd look. thank you

Hello, thank you for reply. I have not communicated through email. After sending all the documents, i called them though rebate processing contact number. Rebate representative told, all the discussions and notes has been updated in my tracking number : 1959201682161914

In addition : screenshot from my initial post has all the details on when rebated has been submitted /rejected....etc.

from what I gather, you didnt talk to us. you talked to rebate processor, who are impartial and deny/approve based on facts as they know them.


please email us at rebates@slickdeals.net with linking to this thread.


in the future, we would love if you can let us know asap as it happens... this is a few month late and will be much harder to get to the bottom of it. but we will do our best as alwaysSmilie

I got attached email after i was rejected rebate, hence called the number from that email. I was not sure that i can contact you through the email rebates@slickdeals.net.

Any how, I just emailed to rebates@slickdeals.net, Please let me know if any more details required.
