The company is ICCDS, Inc. You just apply, then keep an eye out for emails. I'm in Michigan, and Plainwell is an area that needs more shoppers, so if you are in that area sign on!
For meijer, shops are broken down into the departments. You can only do 3 departments at a time and can only do a department every 60 days (I think), per store. They usually pay $10.00 per shop and a $3.00 reimbursement. The town I shop in has two meijers, so if I'm fast enough, and the cards fall right, I can get $60.00 plus the $18.00 reimbursement per secret shopping day.
There are a lot of rules of how they are to be conducted as well. But you can read about those if you decide to do it. nod
Out of reps for the day! But THANK you Smilie I willlook into it Smilie

I wanted to apologize to anyone who has pmed me lately. I was just going through my messages and found about 7 pms that I had never seen! I get those deal alerts and so they always come before pm notifications and never noticed them.

Does anyone know of a good way to not miss pms?

Same thing happens to me...I try to check pm inbox every other day in case I miss them.
I wish they'd show up in a different color in the pop up boxes to differentiate between deal alerts & pms.

I looked at this earlier at Wags. I'd rather buy the blue in the picture then the Hand Renewal, I opted for the Hand Renewal though. Curious on anyone's opinion about buying the blue in the picture, I seriously considered it.

My SIL's already used it on the regular. Only when I asked her if she'd read it did she realize the oops. Wrong pic, I would expect folks would use it for the wrong product.

On that same thread, remember the pepsi "ad" in the inserts that had $1/2 off of Pepsi multi-packs that you could print from coupons.com? My paper guy (not a rocket scientist) actually cut the inserts out to use. Facepalm

I wish I could sign up without giving them my SSN.. I'm a little leary of just handing that out to a company I've never heard of

I get that, but it seems like you are applying for a job when you do that, and all the job applications I have seen ask for SSN, so I understand why.

Thanks for the info on this! I just signed up and have two to do tomorrow! The reimbursement for mine are $2 each department plus $10 for each. Hopefully it won't take too long in the store and also to do the online form.

This might be fun if it proves to be worth the time it takes.

rgaiski - for the money that Meijer reimburses you for with your purchase, does the purchase have to be something from the department you are doing the "secret shopping" for?

Thank you.

Yes. Did you download the form you have to fill out? I printed mine. There are specific
questions I have to ask during the department visit.
Yes downloaded the form, went to the store and did the 2 departments I was assigned. Came back home and filled out the questions online, uploaded my 2 receipts, and today I received 2 emails saying that my submissions were accepted. It was really quite easy, yet took some time. Not exactly sure the $20 was worth the time (driving, store time, questionnaire afterward).

Didn't see anything in the requirements saying that the purchases had to be from those departments, but I purchased out of them just in case.

No, you can buy whatever you want, except for deli. That dept. I read that you have to ask them for something in order for them to ask if you want something else. I usually just buy a gallon of milk or something though.
