Mens cashmere sweater on sale at Uniqlo for $49.90. Red and Yellow color. I have one of these, it's my best sweater. Super soft, super light, very warm. This stuff is the real deal. Where else can you find cashmere sweater for less than fitty buck? Oh, this cashmere isn't super thin like you find at Nordstrom or Saks. It's not super thick and it's not super thin, it has some heft.
As far as fit goes, I would say it's traditional fit, not a tight knitted fit but not a loosey goosey relaxed fit either, kind of in between. The ad says it's a slim fit. I would say it is just ever so slightly slim fitted. It's not form flattering on me like my other slim fitted shirts. It just doesn't look baggy on me which I really appreciate.
Lots of you never heard of Uniqlo. It's a Japanese retailer. They focus on low price, higher quality, they are super popular in Japan and in California. I have some of their supima cotton t-shirts. I paid $12 for each. You might think $12 isn't that great of a deal but it is for supima cotton, just like you think $50 isn't a great price for a sweater until you realize it's cashmere. Great gift idea.
I would be all over this deal with the exception of 1 thing: Uniqlo is opening their first store in Seattle this Friday (11/6). They will have deals and promotions and it will be a flagship store (being in the corner of Bellevue Square Mall), so it will have pretty much every freaking article of clothing Uniqlo sells and they will have a good selection.
Also, generally speaking, the sales promotions on the website are often reflected in store. So it's likely they will have this promotion as well.
