Anyone got any leads on a 12-15 foot artificial Christmas tree (preferably pre-lit) for a great price?

Ya, wait until after Christmas Big Grin

Picked up a huge and nice one for cheap last year that way. Main problem is friggin storing the thing!

Seriously though you aren't gonna find anything now. You may a few days before Christmas but that is it. IF you have to have something this year I'd suggest to get a real one this year and then get the artificial when they go on blow-out. Will save you $ over just paying retail now.

Or I guess you could buy two of these and duck tape them together Big Grin

Yeah I figured that. I have an 8 foot pre-lit that is nice but I have 20 foot ceilings where the tree goes and though it would look really nice with a big tall tree. I was going to look last year after Christmas but never got a round tuit. This year I will force myself!

I got a crazy deal on a GE Christmas Tree a few years ago although it's smaller but what I've seen as I bought another one for myself and for some other people is they usually go on sale just before Christmas and then you can hopefully get one after. The 6-9' trees go the fastest so you can wait for the 12'-15' longer (in my experience).

The National Tree Company makes a pretty good looking tree. It takes a while to unfluff everything but it does look really nice once done. I think I got my last one for 80% off within a week or two after Christmas. It's first like 25% off, then 50% off, then 60% and so on. I had to have one so I actually bought one at like 60% off but then it dropped more so I picked up another one on-line and returned the other one to the store. Kind of a dick move but the other tree was better and cheaper! Just checked actually and 60% discount was on a tree I ordered on 12/20.

As an example (there are several different price points):

One thing to be aware of is how wide these things are. Out 12' tree is a lot wider than out 8-9' tree. Takes up practically the whole damn entry way!

Yeah, the best deal you'll find will be after Christmas. I snagged a 15' tree at Target Holiday Clearance last year...quite by chance, it was awesome. Smilie

The one we got is tall but not super wide...love it.
