Staples has a surface pro 2 128 display for $225. I want it for $150. Are staples old demos negotiable?

Black Friday is right around the corner. I'm sure there will be a coupon out for all these left over demos. Coupon plus a 5-10% for demo open box units should make it pretty close to 150.

It's already discounted. Ask to see what it scans for as the price sounds like it's bundled with a warranty. Keep in mind that on its own it will not have a warranty even if you register it. As to poster #2 Surfaces are usually exempted from the coupons. Open boxes & demos may normally be discounted by 5-10%, but some stores (rare) may go up to 20% off. As numerous threads have shown, store managers can leave units in their storage rooms for years as corporate does not charge their inventory for doing so. There is no incentive to make them sell it. To give the OP in perspective this unit last price change was in July to the price of $399.50 and there was a thread related to it. Staples has been extremely tight on prices changes at this point.

Good Luck
