I can't find any reviews for the one. HPS looks fishy.

Probably language due to a law suit. They did this with lawnmowers a few years ago. Industry wide, not just sears. Had to do with horsepower rating on them also.

Do these include the pulleys also? They wanted $125 to replace my pulley. I might as well have them install a new garage door opener for that labor cost.

Thanks OP and repped. With surprise point got it for $177.01 plus used Discover deals for 20% more off (10% doubled for me). Smilie So extra $30+ in CB and got $11 in SYWR points .. so bottom line is (where's my calculator? LMAO ) ..so about $136 net?

I don't even have a garage door to put it on, but my best friend if just finishing up his new house down here so maybe he can use.

Balance your door properly. You don't need 1 hp, 3/4 hp or even 1/2 hp to open a properly balanced door regardless of its weight.

Most of the lifting is done by the springs. You should be able to lift it open with one finger, and it should stay where you leave it through its travel, when not connected to an opener.

1. you can use it with out the battery at all?
2. the carriage can be easily disengage (ala the 10 seconds to open a garage door method)?
